  • Surface Characterization Facility Krüss DSA25 Contact Angle Goniometer, Micromeritics Brunauer–Emmett–Teller Analyzer (BET), Anton Paar Porometer 3G zh Capillary Flow Porometer, Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS (DLS), Malvern Zetasizer Pro (DLS), LABSYS EVO Thermogravimetric Analyzer–Differential Scanning Calorimeter (TGA-DSC), Brookfield CT3 Texture Analyzer (Tensile/Texture Analyzer)
  • Electron Microscopy Facility → Thermo Scientific Phenom Pharos G2 Scanning Electron Microscope with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), Luxor Gold Sputter Coater (Sputter Coater)
  • Scanning Probe Facility → Bruker Multimode and Bruker Dimension Edge Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM)

Capabilities: The instruments in this core enable nanoscale surface imaging, porosity and surface area measurements, particle sizing and charge analysis, wettability evaluation, thermal stability and transitions, mechanical/tensile testing, and electron/atomic force microscopy.
