Preclinical CRO

CONTRACT RESEARCH ORGANIZATION (CRO)

Purpose

Our team specializes in rodent models and supports academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device researchers in conducting in vivo experiments to evaluate drug candidates or medical devices in early development. We provide high-quality analyses to address ethical considerations and confirm the efficacy and biosafety of drug candidates and the biocompatibility of medical devices before clinical trials.

SERVICES

Scientific Advisory Services

CRO provides flexible, responsive, and personalized support to researchers in all stages of preclinical studies.

Drug Efficacy

Our preclinical CRO designs and conducts animal studies to assess the biological effects, pharmacokinetics, and toxicity of candidate drugs, as well as the biocompatibility and safety of biomedical devices and implant materials. These studies support predictions of therapeutic efficacy in future clinical trials. The Vivarium is equipped with an IVIS Lumina III in vivo imaging system for bioluminescence and fluorescence experiments, in addition to the scientific instrumentation available in the MSRC.

ADME

ADME (Adsorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion) studies investigate how a substance is absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated by the body. ADME studies of drug compounds are conducted as a fundamental component of preclinical evaluation, with the aim of ensuring efficacy, minimizing adverse effects, and optimizing development timelines.

DMPK

DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) studies are necessary to understand the biotransformation and behavior of drug compounds in the body. DMPK studies help in predicting the exposure while determining the dosage levels and frequencies for testing in preclinical models.

Toxicology

We evaluate potential toxicity profiles of compounds during the discovery stage. Toxicology results guide decisions on advancing compounds to preclinical trials.
