Our mission is to ensure the animal’s rights to be treated humanely during research. With that in mind, we advocate for the use of non-animal approaches when it is possible, enforce that researchers follow the guidelines and instructions for which they have obtained permission, and evaluate that the acquired scientific value justifies their use.
The IACUC convenes on the third Thursday of each month.
Please review the instructions meticulously and plan your submission in advance. Kindly note that prior to submitting the Protocol, approval from the Vivarium’s director and a preliminary veterinary consultation are required.
The current Protocol version is 1.6. No Protocol will be considered for evaluation if it does not conform to this version
For the veterinary review and final submission, please compile all necessary documents into a single comprehensive PDF file. No review will be conducted if the documentation is not properly consolidated.
